SilverStripe began with the vision of three people who are passionate about empowering great digital teams by creating platforms for change.
Together, our founders Sam Minnée, Tim Copeland, and Sigurd Magnusson brought to SilverStripe to life. Starting as SilverStripe CMS, we now offer a full range of services, as well as cloud platform to deliver outstanding user experiences to anyone who works with SilverStripe.
Strongly believing that collaboration leads to better results, SilverStripe CMS was open sourced in 2006. By being an open source software, developers and designers from around the world can help shape and improve SilverStripe. With 50,000 live SilverStripe sites, the software is widely used and supported, making it a secure, scalable option for organisations to choose.
We've been involved with some incredible projects, from hosting the US Democratic National Convention website behind Barack Obama's 2008 presidential campaign to supporting New Zealand's first online census in 2018. Check out our history below!
