StripeCon Europe is back!

The where and when has been set for the next installment of StripeCon Europe(opens in new tab), the go-to conference north of the equator for Silverstripe developers and enthusiasts! 

It will take place in Salzburg, Austria on 16-18 September. 

The first edition of StripeCon Europe was held in Linz, Austria, back in 2014 and in that time, it’s grown from a one-day event to a three-day extravaganza, with the addition last year of a pre-conference Hackday, which will return again in 2026. 

In the 13 years since StripeCon’s inception, it’s become an important fixture of the Silverstripe CMS community, bringing together partners, committed users and contributors to share ideas, insights and the inside-scoop on development practices and innovative ways of using Silverstripe CMS.

Last year, our very own Sigurd Magusson, Silverstripe’s CEO and co-founder, opened the conference with a talk that took us on a journey from his own youthful dabblings with the bits and the bytes, to the here and now and the future too, sharing Silverstripe's current activities and longer term goals. 

Guy Sartorelli, our Principal Product Developer, then delivered a keynote on Silverstripe CMS 6 — what it unlocks and what comes next.

While the programme for 2026 is still under wraps, you can be sure this year’s event will feature quality talks on a variety of topics; there’ll be interactive discussions and showcases, as well as presentations exploring new and exciting possibilities. 

Attendees can expect sessions covering CMS 6 best practices, upgrade experiences, and the latest modules being built by the community.
