As developer at SilverStripe, Simon prefers to work on the backend. Making the technical bits work together, so the visual bits actually make sense.
While studying Applied Physics, he already had big interest in software development and web development, the field of work he accidentally ended up in after his study. He decided to stay in this field and after working with SilverStripe for 6 years, he got the opportunity to leave his country behind and start working in New Zealand for SilverStripe.
Besides writing code for a living, he likes to try out beers, drink a good whisky and the occasional gaming. In his bookcase, you'll also find the most random selection of books about programming, geek stuff and beers.
