Google Summer of Coder Lakshan Parera emailed us today with a "widget" which you can drag & drop into your SilverStripe blog. It shows your latest twitter status updates.
It also shows how easy it is (50 lines of PHP and 5 lines of HTML) to produce a SilverStripe widget that grabs information from another website. With this, we've launched the widgets download area, and look forward to people contributing more widgets.

Awesome, I've added this to my blog. You should change the date to use a SSDatetime class instead of a Date class though, else it gets the times wrong.
