The March edition of Germany's largest PHP Magazine has come out with a several page feature on SilverStripe being the cover story.
It provides an overview of our software supplemented with a developer tutorial on quickly building ready-made interfaces to manage complex relationships, similar to one of our public online tutorials.
One of our core developers (Ingo Schommer) is a fluent German speaker and was able to contribute to the article, and has provided an overview for English readers. Some of their observations:
Thanks very much to Steven Broschart for approaching us and doing the review.
Steven recently wrote on his blog (in german) about his experience of relaunching a website very efficiently and cost-effectively using SilverStripe. He says it wouldn't have been possible with any other CMS he was aware of. Having several document categories and templates, with attached PDF-downloads, he mentioned SilverStripe's MVC-framework shone through in comparison to heavyweight alternatives because the mapping of datastructures was easy and extremely fast. He made the suggestion of speeding up the backend but said he was optimistic that the pace of development would solve these issues in reasonable time.
(Performance improvements are one of the suggested projects if we are successful in participating in the Google Summer of Code this year.)

Wow, it was impressed, i just see the sample and theme, everything excellent, comparing with mambo/joomla, silverstripe is the winner.
