UPDATE 18/12/2007: SilverStripe 2.2.1rc2 and forum 0.1.2rc2 have been released.
Hot off the heels of SilverStripe v2.2.0, which introduced a major new look and feel, and dozens of new features, comes the SilverStripe v2.2.1rc1 release, with:
Please download silverstripe-v2.2.1-rc1.tar.gz and test this new release. If, after a period of time there are no major faults, it will be relabled as the recommend stable release. Log problems directly into our bug tracker (Register first.)
In the same vein, we recently forum module now has new features including OpenID support, improved security, performance, usability and design. Please try it out and confirm with us that it can be recommended as the stable release.
Don't forget you can pretty up the forum module with our new themes.

A link to the rc1 branch on the changelog would have been nice. So you can see what -or if your own- patches are in or not.
