Quin is a sophomore pursuing a degree in Computer Science at the University of Arizona. He has lived in Tucson all his life. Quin is wavering between attending graduate school and seeking a job after graduation. Though he has a passion for programming, his eventual aim is to work in network security. Outside of school, Quin spends his time either working with computers, or volunteering with underprivileged youth in his home town.

Quin applied for the Google Summer of Code for a number of reasons, most of which is that he truly enjoys coding and supporting open source. Quin was attracted to SilverStripe specifically because he was impressed with the history and the goals of the framework. He also thought his skill set fit the bill for the project so it was a perfect choice!

Quin will be working on a tabular and graphical reporting engine for SilverStripe, mentored by Sam Minnee.
