SilverStripe a finalist in three categories at the New Zealand Open Source Awards
6 Oct 2010
We might need to get a new thesaurus here at SilverStripe Ltd, to express exactly how excited we are to be finalists in the New Zealand Open Source Awards.
We're nominated for Open Source Use in Business, Open Source Project for SilverStripe CMS, and also, the NIWA Ocean Survey 20/20 Portal that we built is nominated for Open Source in Government.
These nominations come at a particularly excellent time, as we'll be celebrating four years of being open source on October 10. Brian wrote a blog post two years ago about that process to date, and I think it's fair to say that we’re still heading in the same direction.
For now though, we have some shoes to polish before the Open Source Awards on November 9. We’re looking forward to celebrating not just our nominations, but all the other fantastic work the New Zealand community has built. SilverStripe is proud to be in such fine company.
