SilverStripe has been announced as a finalist in the tenth annual Gold Awards.
The awards recognise and celebrate the leading businesses in our city, Wellington. Being nominated for the Cyber Gold category was based on the views of 60 respected business people acting as judges.
The awards focus on achievements of the preceding 12 months, a very busy time for us! In 2007 we released SilverStripe as an open source package and quickly grew its adoption, community, and features. At the same time, the project and the commercial side of our business fed each other, enabling us to secure exciting projects like the TheLowDown and the Democratic National Convention, in turn landing us on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 list for revenue growth.
The award winners will be announced at a black-tie event on May 1st. (Tickets will be available from the awards website later in March.)
