Bernat lives in Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia. He is in his fourth year of a five year degree in computer engineering at the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC). Bernat loves robotics and programming. In his spare time he enjoys riding his bike through the city, or reading a good sci-fi book (preferably Asimov!).
You better cut the pizza in four pieces because I'm not hungry enough to eat six
Bernat was browsing through mentoring organisations on the Google Summer of Code when he came across SilverStripe. He was struck SilverStripe's goal: To make websites easier to build and maintain. Bernat has been translating websites and applications over the last few years and wanted to start from the beginning, adapting an application to be translatable. He decided to apply to SilverStripe for an internationalisation project. It was his only GSoC application and he was thrilled to be accepted.
Bernat is looking forward to sharing his work on internationalisation with the open source community. He is mentored by Ingo Schommer.
