Kerstin has spent the last 10 years working as an online marketing specialist for several companies including Yahoo! and Expedia. She moved from Germany to Wellington to lead SilverStripe's product marketing, and to spread the word about our awesome tools.
Kerstin's career has been varied, beginning as a radio journalist, moving to writing and developing website sitemaps in an online advertising agency. She then moved to working on sites for Expedia, Yahoo! and OTTO, one of Germany's biggest ecommerce companies. She is very hands-on, and not only experienced in creating marketing strategies from scratch, but also executing them, leading companies to success. To achieve her goals, Kerstin is a real pro in using tools such as SEO, SEM, affiliate-, banner- and social media marketing, PR, and events.
Kerstin is married with two little boys. She spends her free time reading picture books, building sand castles, climbing trees and wine-tasting with her husband. She has a passion for reading and baking, and you might meet her near the water in any given weather because she simply loves the sea.
