Alex Brewer
Project Manager
Alex is one of SilverStripe's Scrum Masters, looking after Team Big O. She is committed to transparency on her projects, both internally and externally.
For her, Scrum's rules of open and constant communication are the key to successful outcomes and her clients always know where they're at. Alex focuses on working with Product Owners with the goal of looking at each site we build with the end user in mind.
Alex holds an MA in Applied Linguistics from the University of Warsaw and in a previous life worked as an English teacher and an English-Polish/Polish-English translator.
In her free time, she plays as much volleyball as she can, goes to Spanish classes, and keeps up her Polish by way of monthly catch-ups with her friends in one of Wellington's many bars.
