Diana joined SilverStripe in 2010, and has worked as a Senior Project Manager on many key projects, combining her knowledge of business and marketing to help achieve her client's project vision. She continues building on her role by providing Programme Management for her clients, to support them in mapping out their web and IT strategies.
As someone who is passionate about business, Diana has a diverse background in many industries. Before joining the world of IT, she worked mainly in a marketing capacity in finance, real estate, contemporary New Zealand art, and the beauty industry.
No matter which direction she went, Diana was always handed a website to upgrade, create, design, or manage. She took this as a sign to head into the web industry, and has never looked back.
Diana believes that clear communication and adaptability are key to delivering great projects. She acts as a careful interpreter between clients and development teams: a strength she uses often as she speaks both languages fluently. She very much remembers what it is like to be on the 'other side' of a project, and therefore is a strong client advocate using a very collaborative and transparent approach.
When not at work, Diana enjoys a good meal out, a fine wine or two, a G&T in the sun, and performing surgery on or collecting old furniture/quirky items, such as her one armed bandit pokey machine she intends on turning into a jukebox.
