The path that led Mateusz to SilverStripe took him through the wilds of the Polish education system and zigzagged past several IT companies ranging from big telecoms to startups.
Mateusz has a BSc in robotics and an MSc in networking, both granted by the Polish-Japanese Institute of IT, and he has extensive experience in application and web development. After gaining all this experience and doing some freelance work, he finally arrived at the conclusion that there is no better topic to dive into than PHP development.
In private he is a bit of a philosophical guy who likes to poke around the bookshops. His free time is spent enjoying the outdoors, drawing silly comic figures, writing enormous letters to friends, and figuring out how to make a weekend an inspiring experience for him and his girlfriend.
